Protocol Camp History

Originally launched in Korea by Hashed and Hanwha Life, Protocol Camp is an intensive 12-week Web3 bootcamp designed to equip blockchain builders with essential knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on experience. Its mission is to strengthen the blockchain industry by empowering developers and entrepreneurs through innovation, collaboration, and practical education in decentralized technologies.

Since 2024, ShardLab has led the initiative, expanding its reach into Southeast Asia while staying true to its core vision. With a renewed focus on nurturing talent across the region, the program aims to cultivate the next generation of blockchain innovators and drive sustainable growth in the global Web3 ecosystem.

General Requirements

Understanding of Blockchain and Web3
Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
Strong Communication and English skills (written and verbal)
Passion for building real products (not just theory or sandbox projects)
Openness to receiving user feedback and iterating based on real-world signals
Full commitment to participate and contribute throughout the 12-week program

Positions & Qualifications

Developer

Built and operated real-world(production) products (Web3 or Web2), taking responsibility for both implementation and ongoing stability
Led or contribute meaningfully to taking something from zero to MVP
Proficient in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Solidity)
Willing to learn and apply blockchain fundamentals in real product use cases

Github example

Designer

Designed and shipped real-world digital products with measurable user impact (Web3 or Web2)
Led or contributed meaningfully to the full design process — from discovery and user research to polished UI and handoff
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
Willing and able to understand and adapt to new interaction models specific to Web3 (e.g., wallet UX, trustless flows)

Product Manager

Led the development and launch of real-world products (Web3 or Web2) that addressed meaningful user problems
Ability to define product direction, scope MVPs, and lead cross-functional teams toward execution
Experienced in defining product scope, validating user needs, and delivering outcomes through cross-functional collaboration
Curious and fast at absorbing new domains, including blockchain fundamentals, decentralized product patterns, and on-chain user behavior
